We believe through ethical manufacturing, we can create well-paying jobs for people that need them most.
We started Pistol Lake in 2012 to make a small difference in the world.
Why We Do This
DO GOOD
TAKE LESS
By developing recycled fabrics, we can lessen the impact of manufacturing on the world.
DO MORE
By developing ultra-functional gear with a natural aesthetic, we can simplify but do more.
THE HISTORY
Pistol Lake in rural Maine was where we'd go camping every summer when we were young. Being outdoors taught us how to appreciate the simple things in life; the importance of being self-sufficient, that having less actually gave us more freedom, and most importantly, we learned the value of connecting with nature, and living a free and adventurous life.
THE COMPANY
We started as a group of friends in Venice, CA who wanted to bring back the level of craftsmanship that defined American manufacturing for so long. We strive for perfection in everything we make. We started with organic cotton, nailed the cut and fit... but we wanted to make more.
THE CREATION OF EUDAE
We spent two years and hundreds of iterations to come up with the perfect performance fabric. Made from recycled water bottles & Eucalyptus, Eudae performs like a Dri-FIT, but looks and feels softer than vintage cotton.
